What it's all about ...

Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. Its roots lie in the traditions and ceremonies of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles. Some rituals are still celebrated today.

... a little bit about us

Regency Lodge No. 6349 was consecrated in 1946.

Early in 1965 some of the Brethren of Regency Lodge 6349, realising that there were a number of Candidates waiting to be Initiated, felt that it would be an opportune moment to form a daughter Lodge. The proposal was approved and it was decided to call the new Lodge Brighthelmstone Lodge No.8042. The Brighthelmstone Lodge No. 8042 also meets at the Sussex Masonic Centre in Brighton.
